ARTIST PROFILE

Julie Seymour learned her craft and developed an appreciation of beautiful Australian opals and other fine gemstones at Cabochon Gems and Designs in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she worked as a goldsmith for 11 years. She now has her own studio in Southwestern Wisconsin.

It is her belief that the stone is the essential focus and she eliminates all extraneous elements.

She is an enthusiastic raptor watcher, and organic gardener.
